Expert assessment and reporting

The objective of expert assessments is to comply with legal requirements by professional examination of buildings for presence of materials containing asbestos within the following scope:

  • defining locations where materials containing asbestos are present and their amounts;
  • defining the asbestos type;
  • estimating risks involved in using asbestos materials, developing a possible plan for assessing the condition of asbestos containing elements including their impact on users' health and
  • the environment, developing and action plan with the view to minimising any possible risks;
  • elaborating assumptions for air monitoring measures;
  • creating stocktaking documentation in line with applicable Ordinances;
  • providing guidelines for disassembly technologies and further asbestos handling.

Assessment results are provided in reports.
They include all stocktaking documents to be submitted to applicable offices.

Such reports also constitute the basis for a manager to plan any investment project aimed at removing all materials containing asbestos as well as to elaborate technological and guidelines, construction designs, applications and permits for rebuilding/demolition/repairs.

An expert assessment report also constitutes a basis for estimating costs of preparing and conducting necessary works and streamlines investor's supervision over implementation.
